The Nutt family and their descendants not only played a critical role in the founding of the city of Granbury, but also it's revitalization during the 1960's. Spear headed by Mary Lou Watkins, the great granddaughter of David Nutt. There are many other Nutt historical sites to visit throughout Granbury during your stay, to include David and Sudie Nutt's home, as well as Jefferson Newton Nutt's home. You're are also cordially invited to pay your respects to the Nutt brothers and their descendants final resting place at the historic Granbury Cemetery, conveniently located only a few blocks away from the hotel and within walking distance. This historic cemetery is also the final resting place of many other famous people like, General John Hood, the descendants of Davey Crocket, as well as what is believed to be the remains of the infamous outlaw Jesse James. Our delightful suites provide all of the conveniences of home and then some! Accoutrements include, WiFi, Cable Television, coffee pots, real ceramic coffee cups, wine goblets and bucket, an iron and ironing boards, and blow dryers. There is a common area with a refrigerator, microwave, and stocked ice chest. Monday through Thursday a bountiful Continental Breakfast is provided with the purchase of your room reservation, and is catered by a much sought after local caterer.
